As climate impacts and equity become more central in policy discussions, there is a growing need for researchers to understand how integrated assessment models can capture and address these issues. To support this, the PRISMA project, supported by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme, is hosting a Summer School for 20 young international scholars, advanced PhD students, and early postdocs. We offer accommodation, diner, lunches, coffee breaks and one or more social events. These are provided without charge for all participants of the school.
The objective of the summer school is to create a community of young scholars from a broad range of disciplines (climate, ecology, economy, energy, political science) actively working on modelling human activities and the earth system in an integrated framework commonly referred to as Integrated Assessment Modeling. Participants will explore key topics such as climate impacts, adaptation strategies, equity, and finance, with an emphasis on their integration into Integrated Assessment Models.
