Webinar on Scenario Explorer and a CloudHub for Energy models, September 8, h. 14.00 CEST
Date: Tuesday 8th September 2026
Time: 14:00 – 16:00 CEST
Format: Interactive Online
Organisers: NTNU, Fraunhofer ISE, IIASA and iDesignRES project
Energy system analysis requires dedicated tools and models capable of representing the interactions, dynamics, and complexity of the various components of an energy system. However, many energy and power system models can be challenging to set up, install, configure, and prepare for use. So, why a Cloud Hub? The Cloud Hub enables users to run energy system models in the cloud, making their execution, implementation, and access substantially easier. By reducing technical and computational barriers, it lowers the entry threshold for anyone interested in analysing and planning energy systems. This interactive event introduces the Scenario Explorer and CloudHub platform designed to make energy models more accessible and to support exploration of their results. Participants will learn how to add data and adapt the tools to specific cases, requirements, and constraints. The event will include live walkthroughs featuring country-specific results, pan-European transition analyses, and other practical applications. Join and register at this link: Registration.
