GAINS Model Community meeting

The first GAINS Model Community meeting will take place in IIASA on 29 and 30 November 2022, from 9:00 to 17:00 CET in a hybrid mode.
The objective of this meeting is to establish a community of users and modelers who are applying the model in different policy contexts. The meeting offers opportunities to share experiences, inspire each other’s activities, learn from each other, and define potential future projects.

Day 1 will be dedicated to both recent applications of the tools in research projects and decision-making processes, as well as to recent updates that have happened in the model in Laxenburg and elsewhere.
Day 2 will be dedicated to current and future projects, user needs, and emerging opportunities to support assessment and decision-making processes.
