Seminar: Modeling the Future Role of Nuclear Energy
This EPRI Washington Seminar—in collaboration with colleagues at the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), and Idaho National Laboratory (INL)—will explore modeling nuclear energy’s future role in the United States. It will feature an overview of the joint report from these organizations published in late April 2022 on “Nuclear Energy in Long-Term System Models: A Multi-Model Perspective.” This modeling perspective will be complemented by a panel featuring government and industry speakers on potential contributions of nuclear energy in future decarbonization efforts and how energy models are used to inform decisions.
When: Thursday, May 26, 2022 (12-4 PM Eastern with complimentary networking lunch from 12-1 PM)
Where: EPRI Washington DC Office at 1325 G St., Suite 530, Washington, DC 20005
