The International Symposium on “The Practices of Market Mechanism in European and Asian Climate Actions” will take place on August 6–7, 2025, at Meiji University in Tokyo, Japan. Participants will have the option to attend the symposium in person at Meiji University or virtually via video conferencing
This symposium aims to explore the practical implementation of market-based mechanisms in climate actions across Europe and Asia. It will bring together scholars, policy experts, and practitioners to discuss recent trends, challenges, and opportunities in carbon pricing, international cooperation under the Paris Agreement, and the development of carbon markets.
