Project Assistant (PostDoc Position) with PhD (m/w/d)
in data aggregation and optimization for net-zero power systems
YOUR TASKS
- Participation in cutting-edge European research projects on data aggregation and optimization of and net-zero power systems, which includes topics such as:
- Energy system modeling (including experience in relevant software packages and implementation)
- Techno-economic analyses
- Data science and machine learning (e.g. time series aggregation, clustering, etc)
- Mathematical optimization (e.g. linear programming, mixed integer programming)
- Scientific publications and participation in national/international journals & conferences
- Co-/Supervision of Master theses and dissertations
YOUR PROFILE
Conditions for employment
- Finished PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics or related engineering studies
Desired qualifications
- Experience in power system modeling and optimization
- Experience in data science and data analytics
- Experience with relevant optimization and data science software (e.g. GAMS, Python, R, etc.)
- Excellent English skills (oral and written)
- Experience with project management appreciated
