The Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEP) at Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) invites applications for positions at all levels in Economics, Public Policy, Management Science, Operations Research, Statistics, and Automatic Control relevant to the fields of Energy, Climate Change and Environment.
CEEP is now famous for its esteemed academic reputation, and interactions with the government departments and energy industries. It provides a good research platform for professional development of junior faculty. It locates at Beijing, a good place for communication and cooperation, and policy research. CEEP is listed in the top of some institution rankings such as RePEc/IDEAS. It is one of the around 50 members of IAMC. CEEP is the “Innovative Research Group” financed by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Many policy recommendations from CEEP were adopted by governments. There are now over 100 PhD candidates in the fields of energy and climate economics in CEEP.
BIT has been one of the key universities in China and the first batch of universities that has entered the national “211 Project”, “985 Project” and the “Top A World-Class University”. According to China’s admission score for the college entrance examination (Gaokao) in latest years, BIT ranks approximately tenth in China.
