Integrated assessment modeller at CMCC, Italy
The CMCC Foundation is a scientific research center on climate change and its interactions with the environment, the society, the world of business and policy makers. Its work aims to stimulate sustainable growth, protect the environment and develop strategies for the adaptation and mitigation of climate change.
The Division of Sustainable Earth Modelling Economics (SEME) is looking for new position of bright researchers motivated to work on the defining issue of climate change. Due to an expanded portfolio of projects and the belief in multi/disciplinarity, CMCC is promoting a cluster hiring consisting of several job opportunities in several areas of climate research. These include applied and behavioural economics, political economy, data science, decision theory, and energy-economy-climate modelling (see below for specific job ad). The cluster hire is intended to strengthen the existing research groups and promote new research lines. It is mainly targeted at post-docs and junior researchers (though other seniorities will be considered).
