Job description
The position is a two-year research position with a possibility of extension. The position is funded by KU Leuven under a grant on Climate Coalition Formation and International Trade and provides an excellent opportunity for long-term academic development.
Qualifications and Profile
We look for motivated candidates showing research skills through a pipeline of promising research projects, papers and academic references. The candidate should have either experience or interest of working in the field of Environmental Economics. The position requires a subset of the following expertise (in order of approximate priority): Environmental Economics, Economic Theory, Industrial Organisation, Trade and International Macroeconomics.
Interested candidates should hold (or obtain prior to the start date of employment) a Ph.D. in Economics or in a related field. Excellence in written and spoken English is also a prerequisite.
