BAEconomics Pty Ltd, Department of Climate policy modelling has recently joined the Integrated Assessment Modeling Consortium.

BAEconomics is an Australian company that carries out research and policy analysis on problems important to the world’s commodity producers. It maintains a suite of economic models useful in the analysis of economic problems in the minerals, energy, agriculture and natural resources sectors with an emphasis of trade and climate change.

BAEconomics works with commodity companies and governments in both industrialised and developing countries to solve applied economic problems in project development with an emphasis on assisting with the establishment of policy frameworks that maximise the benefits from resource development to society as a whole. An important component of this work is a focus on the assessment of climate policies and the ways in which those policies affect commodity trade.’
