The last meeting of the IAMC Scientific Steering Committee meeting (SSC) took place on July 17th, 2023. The SSC discussed the high number of submissions received for the 2023 Annual Meeting: 412 (279 in 2022). The submission evaluation process and acceptance targets were then discussed, including the need to assure the quality of submissions, logistical and financial constraints, and also a general criterion of inclusiveness are taken into account in making decisions.. The Evaluating Committee for the 2023 LAA, ECA and ECRA Awards was also appointed. Membership applications to the IAMC from “Energy Economics Group (EEG), Austria” and “Konkuk University, South Korea” were approved.
