IAMC Scientific Steering Committee Meeting – March 19th, 2024

A summary of the Advisory Council meeting was presented. After covering the Secretariat role since July 2018 (2 terms), the current IAMC Secretariat term managed by CMCC will end in June 2024. IIASA confirmed its willingness to take over the Secretariat role from CMCC starting from 1 July 2024. The details of the agreement between IIASA and IAMC are under discussion. The organisation of IAMC 2024 is going on, and topics for the call for abstracts were discussed. Logistics are under discussion with the local organisers.
