AR6 Scenario Submission Portal
The “AR6 Scenario Submission Portal” is currently used by authors from the IPCC AR6 report to assess a wide range of global, regional and national scenarios through a cooperation agreement with the explicit endorsement of the co-Chairs of WGIII of the IPCC. These scenarios are being collected from existing databases and also submitted from various modeling teams around the world to provide quantitative evidence for the next IPCC report. The call for scenario submission is still open until 19 September 2020.
The scenarios come from a wide range of models and provide data on emissions, energy, transport, land use, socioeconomics, industry, buildings, investments and sustainable development issues for both the near- and long-term. Currently the database is restricted to Authors of the IPCC, but – similar to the IAMC 1.5°C Scenario Explorer and the AR5 Scenario Database (see below) – will become available to the public upon publication of the IPCC AR6 of WGIII.
