IAMC’s Scientific Steering Committee for 2026–2029
The IAMC is pleased to announce the composition of the Scientific Steering Committee (SSC) for the 2026–2029 term, following both the member election held in April 2026 and the at-large appointment process concluded on 1 July 2026.
The institutions received the highest number of votes in the April 2026 election will join the SSC as elected At-Large Members for the 2026–2029 term:
- European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC), European Union
- MIT Center for Sustainability Science and Strategy, United States
- Centre International de Recherche sur l’Environnement et le Développement (CIRED), France
In line with the IAMC governance objective of appointing additional At-Large Members to ensure balanced representation across regions, disciplines, and institutional types, the SSC appointed the following institutions as additional At-Large Members:
- Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), India
- Tsinghua University, China
- Yonsei University, South Korea
- Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT), China
The SSC is the principal governing body of the IAMC and provides strategic direction for the consortium. The new term runs from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2029.
The IAMC warmly welcomes the newly represented institutions and thanks the outgoing members for their service and commitment to the consortium.
